Ruby on Rails
Tumblr/Blog Social Media Site
The Idea
I built a Tumblr-like social media blog platform, driven by the desire to create a full-stack Ruby on Rails application. The platform allowed users to create accounts, post images and text, and interact with other users' content. Users had the ability to follow and unfollow others, curating their feed with posts from accounts they were interested in.
The primary goal was to learn Ruby on Rails by implementing key features such as authentication, CRUD operations for posts, and a dynamic user feed. The project focused on creating a smooth user experience while enhancing my skills in building robust back-end systems and front-end interactivity using Rails' built-in tools and resources.
